Welcome to the 6th Biennial Technical Visit

Message from the Chair of PIANC YP-Com Australia

PIANC Australia and the International PIANC Young Professional Committee (YP Com) invites PIANC Young Professional delegates worldwide to the 6th Biennial Technical Visit, held from 15 – 21 June 2017 in Australia.

The Biennial Technical Visits (BTV) are the most important and prestigious events in the PIANC YP Com calendar.  The 6th BTV will be held in Sydney and Cairns, highlighting recent port and harbour developments and Australia’s unique marine environment.  The event theme is ‘Working with Nature’.

The 6th BTV coincides with PIANC’s Annual General Assembly and the 2017 Coasts and Ports Conference.  The event will be one of the largest gatherings of PIANC Young Professionals ever assembled with members expected from PIANC partners worldwide.

On behalf of PIANC Australia and PIANC YP-Com International I welcome PIANC Young Professional delegates to this unique and exciting event.

We also wish to thank Australasian and International sponsors for their generous support of the BTV and associated activities.
